Handbag Buyers How to Spot a Fake HandbagSan Diego Luxury Pawnbrokers is the premier pawn shop in San Diego for buying, pawning, and selling handbags from luxury makers like Hermes, Burberry, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. Discount handbag buyers looking for deals on designer handbags always have to be wary of fake handbags.

While all of the designer handbags that our  San Diego pawn shop sells are guaranteed authentic, there are many other places that offer no such guarantee.  The folks over at Women24 recently wrote an article providing tips on how to spot a fake handbag. Here are a few of the tips listed:

1) The inner lining. Real designer handbags are often leather lined. Plastic-like lining is only used in fake handbags.

2) The serial number. Real designer handbags have the brand stamped inside the handbag, although not all designers have this.

3) Wear and tear. Real designer handbags don’t fray or come apart at the seam, although this can only be determined after you’ve bought the handbag.
